We are among those who believe that French Heritage is the soul of our country.
As lovers of beautiful stones, we want to ensure that these places of roots and history continue to exist. Convinced that heritage must be lived, we then created Prosper to facilitate ownership of exceptional French heritage sites for everyone, offering unique experiences with tailor-made use of our chateaux.
Prosper is a turnkey solution for the ownership of châteaux, whether listed or not, to make the life of a châtelain a reality.

At Prosper, we believe that French heritage is the soul of our country. We enable lovers of fine stone to acquire châteaux, so that they in turn can become transmitters of history and keep our national heritage alive.
The Prosper team
Prosper was founded by Pierre-Emmanuel, François and Matthieu, three enthusiasts of old stones and the hotel business. Their aim? To offer a solution that would allow us to perpetuate what constitutes our national DNA: French castles.
With a degree from ESSEC and over 7 years' experience in real estate with major real estate companies, Pierre-Emmanuel Chadefaux has always been passionate about old stones and castles. After several months as an incubated entrepreneur at Otium Capital, he created Prosper to pass on the joy of owning châteaux.
François Durvye, a graduate of X-Mines with 15 years' experience in strategy consulting, is currently Managing Director of Otium Capital and co-founder of Prosper. His passion for characterful residences and his personal experience of French chateaux make him a key player in sourcing new properties and in the financial packages offered to our customers.
Matthieu Chavanel worked for over 10 years at Extendam, one of the leaders in hotel investment, after graduating from EM Lyon. As co-founder of Prosper, his experience is essential to push the level of experience expected by Prosper owners to its maximum.
